Document Summary
Key concepts: critical thinking: the ability to examine issues rationally, logically and coherently. Purposeful, elf-regulatory judgement which results in interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and interference, as well as explanation of the evidential, conceptual, methodological, or contextual considerations upon which that judgement is based. Why do i say that: cultural/social identity: we all have the sense that we belong to a particular cultural group or several such groups. It means understanding that each individual is unique, and recognizing our individual differences. These can be along the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies: framing: the framing of an event or activity establishes its meaning. It is the process by which we make sense of the events around us. Frames are like story lines that allow us to interpret new information in the context of something we already understand.
