Created during a time (early 20"s) when artists can have more control. Scene is silent, features a family at a dinner table. The father figure becomes notably distressed and ushers the family out of the room, with the exception of a young man. The father locks the door and menacingly approaches the young man. The young man jumps on a table and dives out of the door window. A comedic scene ensues with the young man using an escalator as the man chases him upstairs. There is no dialogue only title cards that serve as a narration. In the end, the young man calls on the help of a young lady. Hijinks ensue, the father is stuck in an elevator and the couple escapes. Two men are talking on the street as one encourages the other to climb a building. The other man accepts and is eventually chased by the police.
