In order of the time it happened: spatial order. Ex] a band coming to fame: topical order. Timing: making sure you are within time. Pace: making sure your pace if the same, needs to be slow enough that your audience can understand, but fast enough that you get the information in within time. Relevance: must be relevant to your audience. Remind the audience between point about what you covered and where you"re going. Cite your sources: you must cite sources within speech. Implicity complex speeches are not the most interesting. Paired-down lists: pair as many of your topics as possible. Audience analysis: define words that they may not understand, use trusted references, have supporting material, compare and contrast. Use visual aids: ex] power point, props. Trustworthy: keep eye contact to establish that you are trust worthy.
