Highly critical of authority, do not like to be the brunt of criticism, hard to accept criticism, nd fault in someone else"s behavior: imaginary audience: always onstage, think they are the focus of everybody"s attention. Thinking about what people are noticing/thinking about them, avoid embarrassment, sensitive to public criticism: personal fable: think their experiences are unique. No one knows what it"s like to be them. Puberty : puberty for girls starts two years earlier than boys. Girls 11 or 12, boys 13 or 14: maturation for boys: Early maturation can be a positive event for males. Early maturation can involve risk of delinquency: looks older than they are which leads to older friends and getting into trouble earlier (vandalism, drinking, etc. )
