To talk about things you like, use (cid:1688)gusta(cid:1689) (singular) or (cid:1688)gustan(cid:1689) (plural). To talk about activities you like doing, use (cid:1688)gusta(cid:1689)). We use the indirect object pronouns: me / te / le / nos / os / les before the verb (cid:1688)gustar(cid:1689) to indicate the person who likes what is being mentioned. To emphasize the person that likes the thing/activity we add the following prepositional phrases: a m / a t / a l-ella-usted / a nosotros-as / a vosotros-as. A l le gusta practicar deportes. (he likes doing sports. : a nosotros nos gusta bailar tango. (we like to dance the tango. ) Adjectives: estudioso = studious, bookish, deportista = sporty, athletic, divertido = fun, art stico = artistic, amable = kind.
