There shouldn"t just be one religion: pluralism diversity of opinions (different views of religions, different practices of religions). Locke does not agree with regulating and restricting religion. Relationship between the individual and the state = trust. That is why there is limits and division between governments. It balances the government and the responsibilities of each individual and as a whole. Tuesday, october 13th, 2015: to keep power in control and subjective. No one is overpowered easily by another: to keep the state and society in order. It is not strongest with the other, nor is the state is in powerful authority. State is not absolute; they are in a limited term of matter that allows them to power and be overpowered by an individual: many complications and situations are then to be considered. Religion has to have (characteristic) equality, liberty (freedom): freedom for the individual, unit of analysis begins and ends = the individual.
