Normative sets out laws in a society and what is normal and abnormal. What society deems as normal, religion, morals, parents, ads/media, social beliefs, norms. Narratology (whos telling the story) and social norms: All people are equal under the law, same laws apply to everyone equally. A disruption that threatens the social order of a society. Law in every society regulates what we think is moral and immoral; we believe drugs are bad because it is illegal while drinking is ok. law attempts to govern the rules that apply to all of us. Law seeks to contain certain behaviours by making things illegal or legal prevents certain things from happening regulate.
