Art has embodied a part of the human mind that is untouched by society. As a result, it provides an autonomy of consciousness that industrial life lacks. Art serves as a visual type of history book, but unlike a book it does not focus on facts but serves to showcase human emotion. Both pain, happiness, a historical moments in time are illustrated in a way that becomes more personalized for us. Through it we realize that emotions are part of the human condition and through it we gain a sense of connection towards wider humanity. The most important aspect of art is that it gives us a moment to pause and reflect upon the greater meaning of life beyond our crammed cubicles of a superficial lifestyle. Art counterbalances us and gives us a sense of connection (jenkins,
