Comes to society to be a part of it, society is willing to allow them in. Objectivity: sees society independent of internal prejudices (neutral, universal compares with other societies) Sees society from both inside and outside perspective. From without: can be told secrets; no interest in spilling them or have anyone to tell to; exchange/objectivity.
