Collective behaviour & social movements: lecture 7 - theories of collective behaviour: cb sm. In your paper, you have to have a theoretical component!! (important) Exam (november 24th, 2016) in class: regular lecture room. Duration: 2 hours: exam is out of 20, on the website now, there are 16 study concepts, 7 of which will be on the exam. These are thing you can easily find (in your textbook, powerpoints; which can be found under lecture presentations). Nazism, feminist movements, etc: the analysis is where you put together the theories and the data. You considered which theories are relevant to what you decided to look at. You have to go beyond just describing this. Move beyond description of evidence: make sure you have a good title; usually contains the variable you are looking at. Also include something like a sub-title: objective: somewhere in the first or second paragraph, you need to state the purpose of your study.
