Baby boomers= we will now have to create more resources for elderly than we did in the past because there are millions of baby boomers) Sliding scale= fees tied to income or number of dependents. *accountability= the obligation to account or or be responsible for various transactions, monetary or otherwise cost-effectiveness= means that money should be spent wisely; there should be some return or profit on money. *technological changes= created new demands on workforces and businesses and human services (in form of web/ network- based communications) *community conflict= involves two or more parties with incompatible goals that have specific values that are positive or negative; can be hard to manage; usually will result in social change.
