Charcot taught how you can make and remove hysterical symptoms. Bernheim showed freud that he could get similar results what freud got by just talking to people about their symptoms. Freud had a female patient who came in with amnesia but without any injury or trauma. Freud just asked her to recall events that she said she could not remember. You are asked to report to your analyst every thought which comes to your mind. Don"t censor it or try to understand it. This was the method freud used to get into their unconscious.
