Physical and motor skills - arnold gesell authored several books and pediatricians and parents would look at those books to see if the child is developing in a timely manner. Doll play - how kids play with doll. The child was given dolls that represent parents, and siblings and themselves. The researcher would then observe how the child plays with the dolls.
