A common response to the deepest conflicts in ethical lives. Holds that it"s wrong to pass judgement on others who have substantially different values or try to make them conform to one"s values. Reason: their values are as valid as ours. Another common response to deep moral conflict contradicts moral relativism in two forms: universalist, absolutist - denial of moral relativism and view that some moral rules/duties are absolute without exception. It may influence what people think is fine and just o: however, it is another thing for custom to determine what is fine and just, customs sometimes change under the pressure of moral criticism. Should affect everyone as it can undermine a government"s efforts in education, healthcare, and such on. Poverty can be the root cause of crime and poor health. By solving poverty, we can solve many other social problems.
