The english east india company performs what is known as merchant capitalism, where investments and risk of long-distance trading ventures result in huge profits when sold. Usually, some people travel in a boat to foreign countries to obtain spices, cloves, and nutmegs to sell back at home, as the scarcity of these products result in greater profits. The company sent its first expedition in april 1601 and another successful trip with four ships 18 months after. In 1604, the same four ships were sent off, with three returned, and the shareholders in these two voyages made a 95% profit on their investment. b)manorial system.
