The way the brain adapts to the tasks it is given depends on the task: this is a learning advantage. Left hand advantage in sports: 10% of the human population is left handed. We see where this advantage could be when we start looking at sports top tennis players in the world are left handed (35%) Most of the time you train against right handed people. When you get a left handed player out of no where, your brain just won"t be used to it. So the left handed advantage has nothing to do with the fact that the left hander looks di erent, its just because the right handers haven"t been exposed to it. This is something like bouncing the ball a speci c way before taking a free-throw. Over learn skills so that they become automatic and you don"t need to think about them.
