Something is considered a science based on how it is studied, not what the content in it is. Scienti c method: is a method that is reliable, truthful, and factual. When something ful lls all of these categories, it is called a science. The laws of the universe are immutable: this means they don"t change there is a real and knowable universe the universe operates according to understandable rules or laws. 2: the laws of the universe are immutable, the laws can be understood by careful observation, experimentation, and research it is carefully designed it is objective, logical, and unbiased (or should be anyway) 2: expertise is required, so someone doing research should know the eld well. There are 3 stages of truth: ridicule: people reject the idea and laugh at you, opposition: people start worrying that it might be true, self evident: people realize that its obvious and correct.
