Physics and chemistry are generally going to facilitate designs with more internal validity (very reliable experiments, because ur dealing with inanimate objects) But with life sciences control is difficult to achieve, especially in artificial lab conditions which may influence behavior and risk external validity (how it translates to the real world) Quantitative research may answer how many, what size etc, but quantitative research ca(cid:374)(cid:374)ot capture the (cid:862)hu(cid:373)a(cid:374) experie(cid:374)ce(cid:863) Qualitative methods used primarily in social sciences and humanities (sociology, history, Open ended interviews (just asking ambigious questions, and taking answers and then analyzing them further in depth based on ur answers)
