Document Summary

Cytosol = cell gell: liquid of the cell. Intermediary metabolism: degration, synthesis, and transformation of small organic molecules. Inclusions: store nutrients: transport, secretory and endocytic vesicles: transport or store products being moved within, out of or into the cell. Microtubules: come out of the centrioles, maintain a cell shape, vesicles will use the microt as highways, cilia and flagella are composed from microt, made of tubulin. Microfilaments: actin and myosin, helical structure, actin all present in all cells, but myosin only in muscle cell. Because it has a lot to do with contractions (cells contract too: play a vital role in contractile system but also helps cells change shape, also contributes for microvilli for surface area. Intermediate filaments: contains a lot of keratin. Irregular threadlike proteins: helps resist mechanical stress. Intermediary metabolism: energy is needed for cell activities, cell structure, cell growth, cell function, occurs in the cytosol and involve thousands of enzyme.
