Virulence- the relative ability of an agent to cause rapid and severe disease in a host. Agents of infection: bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungi, parasitic worms (helminthes, prions. Hemagglutinin, allows virus to enter host"s cells. Neuraminidase, allows virus to escape the host"s cells.
