Vo2 is the maximal amount of oxygen an individual can take up and use for producing energy (aerobic fitness) Optimum health is where individual is free of disease and able to optimally live their life. 94% of health care budget is spent on treatment of disease. 70% of it health care is publicly funded. Health is a state of complete, physical, mental and social well-being, not merely absence of disease. Physicians look at just the physical and biological measures, but rarely look at mental, emotional, and spiritual health: environment, genetics, behaviour and community/society influence health. Primary care is treatment of wide range of general conditions. Secondary care is medical specialists available at hospital. Tertiary care is specialized care providers that have state of the art equipment.
