How does heart contract: ventricle has higher pressure (inside left ventricle) goes from low to extremely high (120 mm, high number represents ejection. Pressure drops back down as blood leave ventricle: aortic pressure: at the very top. Pressure in aorta increases as ventricle pushing blood out, matching same pressure increase that occurs in the ventricle. Qrs drop= hearth is ischemic while being monitored. Ekg is a diagnostic tool to check heart health. Job of nose/throat: air warming: keep air clean: through cilia (tiny hair in airways) all the way down through upper part of pharynx.
