Donna strickland won a nobel prize in physics, she generated laser beams with ultrashort pulses. She"s the third woman to win a nobel prize in physics. She didn"t even have a wikipedia page because lack of achievement even though she is a top researcher and scientist. Wikipedia master said she didn"t have enough qualifications to own a wikipedia page. There are power trends that we have identified. Emily martin is an anthropologist who focuses on studying medical texts. She found an interesting bias of how science is a victim of applying social ideas/traits about the role of men and women. The stereotypes imply not only that female biological processes are less worthy than their male counterparts but also that women are less worthy than men. Science was considered objective but it is also very subjective because md/researchers do not leave their biases alone when they put on a white coat.
