Patricia hill collins: prof, examines intersecting power relations of race, gender, social class, sexuality and/or nation. Social change: significant alterations of behaviours and norms/values over time. Example: bringing immigrants can change the way people perceive that nation, and even add holidays and religions. Power relations: who has more power? easy to blame others. We can"t blame groups, it is not that simple. Easy mistake to be confined to narrow definition of race, class, gender.
