We are all looking to give meaning to our lives through what we do this is an ongoing task. When we choose something it means we disregard something else. He would speak about everything being bad. Romantics would talk about the nothingness and that we are impotent to change. Fields of tension are essentially generational in the sense that one generation. Parental figure is not just the mother or father, it also means the previous attempts to move the paradigm in an opposing direction generation. Agon means being against and trying to shift paradigms, is not necessarily bad. Romanticism opposed enlightenment because the enlightenment places all the emphasis on our intellect and reason being able to free ourselves from superstition and prejudice enlightenment emphasizes humanity and romantics emphasize their heart and their personal feelings. Romance were stories of chivalry, feelings, and sentiments.
