Society- sum of inventions, institutions, & relationships created & produced by human beings across time & space: each society has different focus on each aspect of society(invnetions,insti,relationships) Technology-aggregation of knowledge, implements, arts, skills, & social cultural context: -societies define by technology that they use/create. Hunters & gatherers technology: stone tools, & other nature items. Result: major changes is war as population increase. Technological development: yoke(for animals), wheel** (wheel able to create strong societies, to reach other societies), irrigation(to move water somewhere else to cultivate & diversify crops) Types of settlements: rural settlements: -until industrialization, most people lived in rural.
