It"s about knowing and understanding the concepts of geography: where we are on earth , the meaning/why we are here , who is with us on earth . Geography is made up of two greek words: geo means the earth and graphy means to describe the earth. It is the study of earth creatures, distribution of life and the effects of human activity and the impact humans make on the environment. There are two parts of geography: physical geography: examines natural geography such as climate; vegetation and life; and soil, water and land forms. i. e. how they interact. For example, building tilting because of weak or eroding soil: human geography: focuses on how space is created, viewed and managed by humans. The influence humans have on the space they create and the interaction between them. We will look at political, cultural, social, economic and religious activities and relations.
