Anti-discrimination education and work conducted over the years has produced language that gives voice to liberation, subjugation, oppression, and discrimination. Yet, many people have not been exposed to this language, and experience alienation as a result. For this reason, we have updated and made revisions to the human rights & diversity glossary of. Efforts have been made to present accurate and up-to-date definitions of the terms included in this glossary. Nevertheless, this glossary should be used as a resource to supplement ongoing learning, as the terms used in human rights, diversity, equity and anti-discrimination education and work are complex and rapidly evolving. It is thus impossible to include every applicable term. Users should refer to standard texts and reference works for more detail.
