The older you become, the more respectable you become, because you have the experiences of life. In our culture today, we don"t respect elders because we are so focused on the next new thing . We lost focus on our seniors, we focus more on the youth. Big empires tend to focus on flat areas, huge irrigation, then charge taxes. To escape, you must resort to mountains, forests, hills, swamps. Tukano have a long history; they have a specific culture which is very spiritual (animal kingdom etc).
