Someone called him a boy gay and the teacher made him apologize. Behaviour problems changed, able to set higher goals. Polite, gentlemen, committed to team and dance partner, leadership capability. Kids going on the wrong path and program helping them. Dance carries a "transformative power" in "its ability to create a fantasy of change, escape, and of achievement, usually at girls and women. Argues that "fantasises of achievement" are embedded in this documentary. Theory: dance as a mechanism to enforce conformity and competition. Outcome: dance a means to demonstrate acculturalization (the way in which people become part of a specific culture)
