Service economy consists of nine industry super sectors: education and health services, financial activities, government, information, leisure and hospitality, professional and business services, transportation and utilities, wholesale and retail trade, other services. Education - includes schools, colleges, universities, and training centers. Health care/social assistance hospitals, nursing, physician offices, home health care. Banking and insurance protecting money and valuables and providing loans, credit and payment services. Insurance subsector is comprised of firms that provide clients protection against financial loss for a variety of incidents such as fire, accidents, thefts etc. Consists of three subsectors (1) advocacy (2) grant making (3) civic organization. Government aims to provide an array of services relating to defense, affairs, security, justice, agriculture, jobs, transportation, state, energy, housing, development, etc.
