Qulaitative system changes both structual and functional in the bodys progress toward maturity such as the change of cartilgae to bone in the skeleton. E. g on set of puburty (no its coming but just not sure when) Cephalocaudal development (cd: from the head to the tail. Proximodistal development (pd: from those points close to the body"s center to those points close to the periphery or farthest from the body"s center. Upper and then lower body control follow head. Ability to maintain upright posture= hands/arms free for reaching and grasping.
