Stroke warning signs: weakness, vision problems, trouble speaking, headache, dizziness. Ask to repeat a simple sentence: time: if the person shows any of these symptoms, call 911 or get to the hospital immediately. Potenial consequences: based on where brain was injured, degree of damage. Embolism: traveling clot that will set up a problem somewhere else. Aneurysm: massive hemorrhage in the brain if ruptured. Other diseases of the heart: atrial fibrillaion. Disease of heart muscle decreased ability to pump blood.
