Lopez investigated whether ecotour operators in scuba diving were following procedures and found that. They were allowing the disposal of waste in the ocean. Nbt captures both consumptive and non-consumptive tourist types. Thus, its better to refer to nbt as natural resource-based tourism . Some argue it can be a form of ecotourism and nbt. Others argue there cannot be a consumptive component within ecotourism. Wildlife tourism: tourism based on encounters with non-domesticated animals. Cultural tourism: visits by persons from outside the host community motivated wholly or in part by interest in the historical, artistic, scientific, or lifestyle. Adventure tourism: an outdoor leisure activity that takes place in an unusual, exotic, remote or wilderness destination. There is overlap between the 3 forms above and it is growing stronger.
