Week 11/12: the novella & sub plots (formal elements, character and setting, ecology and science as theme and symbol. Building blocks and systems of meaning found in a literary work , particular in the genre of fiction. Understanding the relationship between form and content (the way in which it is written can produce different responses and effect and give meaning or influence) Close reading (being able to take text apart and close examine these parts for the way they combine to produce meanings and effects.
