Many barriers to optimal diversity management: three dimensions. Effective diversity management adds value to organizations. Dimensions of diversity: core dimensions: age; sex, gender, sexual orientation; race; religion; ethnicity; culture; In the workplace this includes any human characteristics that influence perspectives mental and physical disabilities: secondary dimensions: education; past work experience; family status; income, recreational interests; geographic location; family background.
