Computing in its most general form concerns data, hardware, and software. Hardware computers are the physical embodiment of computation. Software instructions to direct computers to do almost anything. Cyberspace coined by william gibson in the novel neuromancer (19984) to describe a futuristic computer network in which users plug their brains. Cyberspace encompasses not only the online world and the internet in particular but also the whole wired and wireless world of communications in general. Cyberspace is where you go online with your computing device. The internet a worldwide computer network that connects hundreds of thousands of smaller networks. These networks link educational, commercial, nonprofit, and military entities , as well as individuals. World wide web an interconnected system of internet computers (servers) that support specially formatted documents in multimedia form (text, still images, moving images, sound) Used for government census, weather forecasting, designing aircrafts, scientific projects, etc. Largest so far is the tianhe-2 (th-2) computer from china.
