Conflict theorist bourgeoisie (owners of the means of production) and the proletariat (the owners of their own labour) Conflicts stem from capitalism and leads to inequality. Within each mode of production there is a thesis antithesis and a synthesis a base and a superstructure. Base is further divided into two other aspects forces of production (actual labour) and relations of productions (consciousness related to the production that is occurring) Capitalism leads to; alienation, exploitation, false consciousness. 1% and 99% of us are the proletariat. Tells us we will get freedom through communism proletariat are going to rebel and have a revolution and turn into a class for itself.
