All the mothers would be involved in raising the kids: women and men perform different tasks. (sexes have equal status, sexual freedom for both (sex wasn"t attached to marriage, people become close to being socially equal. Increased inequality in society because you can accumulate more stuff: government and military start to form bodies that have more control over people. Families would work side by side and work together: family based economy (on exam, families would all work and pool all the money together. Marriage was considered an economic necessity: not based on love. Raising ten or more children was common: children treated like little adults (childhood wasn"t a time for fun) Pro family period: better economic conditions (wages increased more, more educational opportunities, homogenous communities, optimistic outlook for the future. Images was that everything was great in the 50s and there was no problem in society.
