Brain stem controls fundamental funcions e. g. breathing. Medulla, pons, and cerebellum regulate breathing, heart beat and motor control, balance. Corpus callosum allows both hemispheres to communicate. Sensory somaic nervous system cranial nerves control sensaion and muscle movement.
