Document Summary
Response strength: latency (cs - cr) A lot more learning at beginning then end can"t get any better at end: output measure, the more you learn a response the easier it is to learn, negatively accelerates. How the two stimuli are related in time: forward pairing. Cs and ucs at same time: backwards pairing. Pair primary cs with another neutral stimulus: secondary (cs) Not very effective : because cs ucs bond if no longer reinforced. Cs is no longer paired with ucs. Index of strength is determined by how long extinction takes. Fear/harm conditioning is very strong: will not forget fear, will not go near stimuli, cs-ucs bond not unlearned. Savings and spontaneous recovery easier learned for next time, can recover and learn faster after extinction. Degree of responding to stimuli similar to training stimulus. More precision in learning (red) has better hearing. Association of a stimulus and a response.
