A powerful state is needed to avoid disastrous interpersonal conflict. Evidence of human nature: introspection, materialism, felicity, power. 3 reasons to attack: for gain, lack of trust, for safety- the best defence is good offence, glory- the schoolyard bully. The(cid:396)e"s no injusti(cid:272)e (cid:271)e(cid:272)ause injusti(cid:272)es a(cid:396)e disobeying the law, but in the state of nature there is no law. Individual rationality is what is best for you.
