Endotoxin and/or gram-pos cell wall products interact with inflamm biochem mediators, initiating an intense inflamm response and systemic effects that lead to shock. Cell permeability starts to fill or leak. Creates a chance of lack of o2 getting to cells and therefore organ failure.
