Ontology being present with others, ontological quality is evident in a caring attitude, expressed through various art forms. Epistemology branch of philosophy, investigates knowledge, knowledge that was derived from nursing. Even so, they say this is an easy profession. Knowing is how we come to learn about things. Knowing that is expressed in a form that can be shared with others. Blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, oxygen saturation, weight, height. Goal of knowledge is only to describe what can be measured. What is known is accessible through seeing touching hearing and it can be measured. The component of moral knowledge in nursing. Moment to moment judgments about what"s ought to be done. What is good, what is right, what is responsible. What guides and corrects and what drives our purpose. Does not tell you what to do, but provides insight about the choices and helps you choose the things that are responsible, good, and just.
