Trimesters: first from the zygote implantation to 12 weeks, second 12-24 weeks; you begin to feel the fetus moving, third 25+ weeks; fetus grows a lot; increased emotional attachment to the fetus. Key issues in the 1st trimester: ectopic pregnancy, fetus attaches not in uterus, need termination, abnormal urine or blood tests, malnutrition.
