Eurasian plate was dragged down, pressing up a tall water wall- tsunami was born, travelling. 80 miles from epicentre, located at the eastern coast of japan. Sendai contains mostly flat lands, few hills or high ground for people to escape. The walls in miyako was useless compared to the height of the tsunami, which was approximately 30 feet high. When the tsunami sea wall hit the coastline, the force from sea water dragged down the lands, lowering the walls. But the reaction areas were still on progress. Reactor core speed up, reaching a high temperature to meltdown.
