Water vapour in atmosphere results in cloud development and formation of precipitation. Water vapour comes from evaporation from oceans structure of atmosphere. Ozone layer protects from sun"s uv rays - found in the stratosphere clouds. At: -stratus clouds that produce precipitation contain nimb cumulonimbus - thunderstorms, heavy precipitation - summer nimbostratus - prolonged precipitation - fall, winter spring fronts. Marks the boundary between two air masses. Name of the front describes the type of air behind that front. At a cold front: dense cold air undercuts warm air. At a warm front: less dense warm air overrides the cold air thunderstorms development requires: Rising air three stages of development: cumulus, mature, dissipative hail. It is formed during thunderstorms in tall clouds.
