The son was partaking in the pilgrimage of the camino de santiago (the way of st. james (shell is a symbol of this journey) its 800 km long. After his so(cid:374)(cid:859)s death, he tra(cid:448)els to france to collect the body he then goes on the pilgrimage himself with the ashes of his son.
