If you engage parents around the success of their child as opposed to their parenting failure to meet the child"s needs, you are much more likely to successfully engage them. The objective needs to shift from changing the parent to helping the child. Child welfare is a term used to describe a set of government and private services designed to protect children and encourage family stability. The main aim of these services is to safeguard children from abuse and neglect. Destroy the system the sooner the better. 10 and thousands of children have been separated, communities, traditions and their consistently hurt and ignored people.
