If a cell is undergoing involution = endoderm, cells that undergo epiboly = ectoderm. Involution is driving gastrulation, epiboly is closing the ectoderm, convergent extension makes embryo longer. Roof of blastocele cavity rearranges cells so endoderm and ectoderm touch and cells migrate along roof of ectoderm, as they migrate, induction occurs- forms mesoderm. Here we"re looking at gastrulation starting at the left side of the embryo. We have our blastoceal cavity, dorsal forms on top. , and bottle cells starts to sink, when that happens you rearrange shit inside the blastocoel cavity and allow cells to interact with the wall of the blastocoel cavity. So the roof of the cavity is going to bind the wall of cavity, green binds blue. As endoderm migrate along the roof of the blastoceal induction occurs. These cells bind fibronectin through integrins and migrate across the roof of the cavity, as this is happening inductive interaction is occurring and you form mesoderm.
